Based in Derby, we are a combined contemporary arts organisation with specialism in South Asian arts & culture. We exist to create wonderful educational experiences and cross-cultural productions that enrich the lives of everyone. Organisation runs regular Indian dance and music classes for all age groups; working in partnership Surtal promotes concerts, exhibition, festivals, drama, participatory arts and educational programme to raise awareness South Asian arts and culture in Derby and the East Midlands region. Core focus of its work is youth, education and festivals.
