Deaf EXperience. Supporting young deaf people in Yorkshire.

We campaign nationally for deaf children to have better access to education. We support deaf young people aged 11- 30 in Yorkshire to meet with others and share Deaf Experience (DEXperience) is deaf user-led, aiming for the wellbeing of deaf children and young people, providing consultation, participation, training and research. DEX conducted a ground-breaking Best Value Review of deaf education from user perspective, establishing universal performance standards and works with national organisations towards legislation and policy change.
