When we steralise a cat, we aren't just improving the life of one cat, but we save the welfare of the kittens they could have had. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🐈🐈‍⬛🐱🦄🦄🐈‍⬛🐈🙏🙏🙏🙏 Could you spare just £1 or €1? Supporting neutering and steralisation work really is the best way visitors to Corfu can help support the welfare of stray cats on the island as it gets to the root cause of the problem, rather than treating the symptoms. Why is November a good month for us to do a push on neutering? 1. The cats are hungry so are interested in the food in our traps. 2. The females are far less likely to be nursing young or pregnant. 3. Our volunteers have a little more spare time out of season. 4. It is still warm enough for cats to recover properly. We can't do this work without your help. It costs around €50 to steralise 1 cat and treat for worms and parasites. A busy week for us. Carl who we rescued earlier this week is still receiving treatment. It's slow progress and he has diarrhoea on top of everything else. He's now on gastro food and is having treatment for worms. A litter of 4 kittens has 'turned up' at our feeding station in Dassia. Georgia had taken in one of them who is already blind. She now has 30 cats and kittens in her care and cannot take any more. And finally to San Stefanos where we rescued the cat in the picture today after a visitor alerted us to his sickly condition.
