World Medicine Acupuncture in Action World Medicine is a registered UK charity providing acupuncture to people suffering the effects of trauma disaster or poverty. Welcome to World Medicine World Medicine Acupuncture in Action offers humanitarian aid where it is most needed regardless of race religion politics or gender in order to strengthen and support local communities. The journey began in 2005 when a team of 21 complementary therapists went out to help victims of the Asian Tsunami. Today we are more active than ever in offering practitioner experience overseas and UK based programmes recruiting volunteers and raising funds for current and future projects.
