It's National Volunteers Week! Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers at Newbury RDA. A parent of one of our riders recently wrote: 'The patience, skill and empathy of all the volunteers with the children is extraordinary' and another wrote that her daughter 'has gone from a child who was too anxious to interact with anyone she didn't know, to happily chatting away with all the wonderful volunteers and instructors ... as well as the ponies of course!' We know we're doing it right when we get comments like these, and also when the King recognises our service! We are still very proud to have been awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Services. (fb)
