We concluded the school year on a high note at The VOCES8 Centre, celebrating with our final singing workshops and performances, shared with friends and families of the participating pupils. Highlights from the performances included some of the children’s favourite songs, such as 'Swinging on a Star' – where we all agreed we’d rather not be a mule or a fish! A firm favourite with both students and staff was 'The Bear Missed the Train', a catchy tune inspired by our Director of Education’s ever-late next-door neighbour, Mr Bear. And of course, no session would be complete without our singing mascot, Alfred the Alligator, whose adventures – particularly being thrown down the waterspout – continue to delight and amuse.
