Having fun despite the drizzling rain! ☔️ Our volunteer team sharing their knowledge to raise awareness of kids in our community struggling without the basic essentials . Did you know that hundreds of children in our area do not have a bed of their own to sleep in? They are sleeping on the floor or a pile of clothes, if they are fortunate to have a mattress it is often riddled with mould or has springs poking through. Every week we hear from families affected by the death of a parent or who have been made homeless due to suspect landlords or have had to flee their family home due to domestic violence . Children who have very little in the way of belongings, they may not have the proper school uniform, a fridge to store fresh food and milk or enough money to even do a food shop.
