August is Gastroparesis Awareness Month! 🩺 Gastroparesis, or delayed gastric emptying, disrupts your stomach muscles so food moves too slowly into the intestines. This can cause nausea, vomiting, bloating, pain, and early fullness. It’s rare, but real: about 14 people per 100,000 in the UK have been diagnosed with gastroparesis, most often women aged 18–39.
