Last Saturday, during our English tutoring session, our young leaders practiced their oracy skills 🔊 in a lively debate on the hot topic: ‘should writing fake new be illegal?’ At SYLA, we place importance on supporting boys to develop verbal communication, a vital transferable skill that they will need to succeed in their future employment. Research shows that 55% of global recruiters believe that verbal communication is the most important communication skill job candidates should have, followed by presentation skills (47%), and active listening (36%).
