Fascinating castle ruins, gardens old and new, permanent exhibition, huge adventure playground. Restoring and conserving Lowther Castle and gardens, promoting public access to this nationally significant building and offering access to high quality information about the site, covering history, conservation, economics and culture.

Lowther Castle Gardens Please note that while the castle pinnacle is being rebuilt a precarious operation involving cranes and heavy masonry there is limited access to the castle ruin.
