Sikh Relief's 10th Annual Snowdon Charity Hike Concludes with Soaring Spirits! Over 400 members of the Sangat participated in large numbers in Sikh Relief's annual Snowdon Charity Hike this past Saturday. The Sangat, brimming with Chardi Kala, ascended Snowdon Mountain. Their climb was filled with laughter and joy as they relished the beautiful weather. A few even took to the lake for a relaxing boat ride, adding to the day's enjoyment. Upon their return, Langar was prepared for all the Sangat, a well-deserved feast that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Sikh Relief heartily thanks all the participating Sangat for their incredible support, for being a vital part of our projects, and for showering us with so much love. Sikh Relief is a UK registered charity focused on creating a lasting legacy of positive change in peoples lives. Originating as the Sikh Organisation for Prisoner Welfare SOPW Sikh Relief began providing for the welfare of Sikh Prisoners of Conscience in various different ways. These were people in jail convicted or accused of crimes against the state resulting from decades of documented oppression and state sponsored Genocide. SOPW continues to support and help gain the freedom of these Sikh prisoners throughout India.
