We are recruiting two Peer Support workers (Female and Male) To work as part of the Maan team, in partnership with Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust, working with people in the Somali community who are experiencing mental ill health, to facilitate an improvement in their health and wellbeing and recovery. You will bring a lived experience and a compassionate, person centred approach to support Somali people experiencing mental health issues. Drawing on your lived experience, of mental health, your role will include improving the approaches offered by Maan and health and social care providers to Somali mental health service users. (fb)

Who We Are Community Development Work Maan works with Somali individuals families carers community members community organisations as well in partnership with mainstream organisations and structures including settings such as hospitals colleges and universities prisons and workplaces.
