THE CHÂTEAU OF KARLOVA KORUNA The château was built for František Ferdinand Kinský in 1721–23. He invited the Emperor Charles VI to the château and named the estate after him - 'Karlova Koruna' means 'Charles's Crown' in English. The architect Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel and builder František Maxmilián Kaňka were chosen for this commission (fb)
