Rescue and rehoming of Akitas in the UK Our objective is to help rescue where necessary rehabilitate and rehome any Akita which needs it through assessing both dog and potential owners to ensure a wellmatched and long lasting happy relationship. View Akitas available for adoption News and Events Luna rehomed December 2023 Female 8 Months West Yorkshire Introducing Luna a beautiful youngster born 02122023 and who found her way to FOA after a brief stay at the pound. A stray at such a young age meant this lady has benefited greatly from being in a foster home and she is now looking for her forever home. Luna currently lives as an only dog but has met other dogs out on walks and has been very well behaved.
