SHIPTON-UNDER-WYCHWOOD WILD GARDEN AND WOODS
Wychwood Wild Garden – The Wychwood Wild Garden is a beautiful woodland and garden, close to the centre of Shipton-under-Wychwood in Oxfordshire. Its 12.5 acres of avenues, woods and ponds much of which was laid out in the 1860's, is home to wild life and many breeds of ducks and birds. It is a private garden, owned and managed by a local charity and offered as a place of peace and tranquillity to local residents, guests and visitors to the area.
The Wychwood Wild Garden is a magical place in the heart of the Cotswolds. Originally part of Shipto To manage the Wychwood Wild Garden and related woodlands for the benefit of the local community, residents and visitors. To work with the community in the overall management, conservation and restoration of the Wild Garden while retaining its distinct character.

A Truly Magical Place Please note that work to restore some of the pond edges and further work to the island wall will begin on April 3rd. This will necessitate draining of the pond and some plant machinary will be present. Work will also begin on some of the pathways which will improve accessibility for all when complete. We apologise for any inconvenience but please adhere to all signs and take extra care WORKING PARTY Saturday 26th April 9.
