Gateway North East (formerly Wear Mencap/Sunderland Gateway) are a charitable organisation who aim to help support young people with learning disabilities. GNE supports children ,young people, families and carers affected by disability or a barrier to learning by providing leisure activities, holiday schemes, training and work experience. We provide emotional, physical, practical and spiritual support we work towards educating society about the needs and positive attributes of young people with a disability or barrier to learning and their families
