We’re thrilled to welcome Liam Francis as Yorke Dance Project’s first ever Associate Artist. Liam Francis is an award-winning dancer and choreographer whose career spans stage, film and TV, from leading roles with Rambert to creating new work across London, New York, Paris and beyond. His movement style draws from contemporary, hip-hop and ballet, blending physical power with playful detail and emotional depth. This year marks the inaugural season of Liam Francis dance Company, Liam’s new project-based company, and we’re proud to be commissioning a brand new work with YDP dancers as part of that launch, which will be performed for the first time as part of our Modern MIlestones touring programme, 2025/26 from this November. Rooted in collaboration and artistic risk-taking, Liam Francis Dance Company is a space for Liam to develop and share his choreographic voice, and this new piece will mark the start of an exciting new chapter for both artist and audiences.
