We are the NYJC

National Youth Jazz Collective 🎷Music organisation supporting young #jazz musicians aged 8-18 Founder @IssieBarratt Pres. Dave Holland #NYJC #NationalYouthJazz NYJC empowers the next generation of jazz musicians to learn, improvise, compose, arrange and lead bands. Founded in 2007 by award-winning Artistic Director Issie Barratt, NYJC supports the creative needs of young improvisers and composers. NYJC was established to advance, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of jazz music in all its aspects, for young people and others, and to raise the aspirations of young musicians. Our main activity is a week-long summer school in August each year.
