They've always been gracious in allowing me to maintain my training whenever I'm back home in Jamaica. The security guards who allow me entry at 6am, the teachers and principal who always give me a warm welcome and the children who gather around and watch me, towards the end of my workouts.” ........... The CEO says “Philip appears to be on the trajectory of his mother... and this is without my prompting! OK, well, just a tiny bit!! I cannot help but notice the link between my nephews’ determination, drive and self-confidence... So similar to the requirements of any student aiming for the stars through education. This young lady is a Pre- Doctoral Fellow. She is 24 years old TODAY (08th 01 2024), and completed her Masters Degree in her 23rd year, in Academic Research at UCL, which is an Ivy League University. Incidentally, the Ivy League is made up of 24 Universities. Moreover, 43% of UCL’s research is rated as world-leading, and the Complete University Guide, ranks UCL as the sixth best Russell Group university, with an acceptance rate similar to that of Oxford University at around 15%. On the whole, courses are incredibly competitive and high grades go a long way in making a students’ application standout. So, acceptance was not too surprising, given that this student achieved 7 A stars and 3 As in GCSE’s, followed by a Distinction in a BSc. * Her head was getting so big, she needed to be reminded that she got a B in German!! Still, she has already been published... TWICE!! However, the programme, which got the student to UCL was also extremely unique... and I will tell you about this later!
