The collection furthers the museums mission of celebrating American art. Collection highlights include early American paintings artwork by 20thcentury artists from the Cape Ann and Provincetown art colonies folk art and painted furniture of Ralph and Martha Cahoon and contemporary works by New England artists. Our Mission The Cahoon Museum celebrates American art in ways that expand knowledge enrich the spirit and engage the heart.
