Over 2000 people came to see Jacqui Parkinson's Threads through Creation exhibition at Vic over the past six weeks! It has been wonderful to see how much joy and pleasure it has given people. We are very grateful to those who planned, installed, stewarded, provided refreshments and much more to ensure the success of it all. And Saturday's evening of music, readings and meditations was a deeply moving and fitting way to end to the exhibition. Thank you to everyone who was involved. (fb)
Wonderful to have Richard and June with us yesterday. They were married here at Vic on 1 October 1960 by Rev Peter Morley. When they visited the Threads through Creation exhibition yesterday Patrick, our minister, was able to offer a wedding blessing and some prayers of thankfulness for 65 years of marriage.
