Recently, the band had the absolute pleasure of playing at a very special birthday party — for none other than our much-loved euphonium player and chairman, Steve! But this wasn’t just any performance… 🐘🦒🦁 Behind the scenes the band were planning a twist... the whole band turned up in full animal costumes. From roaring lions to little mice, it was a jungle out there — and thanks to our MD John Hopkinson for getting on board so quick and adding in an extra piece with a few oink oinks here and there, it gave everyone a good laugh! 🥳🎺 A huge thank you to everyone who helped pull off this surprise, and Happy Birthday Steve! — we hope it was a celebration to remember!
