Commemorating the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China It was a great privilege to attend the National Day Reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom, graciously extended by Minister Wang Qi. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Li Liyan, Minister Counsellor for Cultural Affairs, for arranging the invitation and warmly welcoming Mr. Rick Fink, Director of the Butler Valet School of Royal Butler Training, as a distinguished guest. Mr. Fink’s dedication to cultural diplomacy was notably recognized in 2022, when he participated in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of ambassadorial diplomatic relations between China and the UK. As a tribute, he donated an original oil painting to the Chinese Embassy, depicting Queen Elizabeth II’s historic visit to China and her tour of the Terracotta Warriors. In recognition of this meaningful gesture, the Embassy awarded him the honorary title of “Ambassador of Sino-British Cultural Friendship.” Minister Wang Qi delivered an inspiring keynote address, expressing his aspirations for deeper Sino-British exchanges and continued prosperity in bilateral relations. His personal encouragement to Mr. Fink and the Butler Valet School to further promote traditional British culture in China was deeply appreciated.
