This week we continue to look at our volunteers' experiences on the trips out to Kenya. In the picture below we can see our volunteers lining up for self-service lunch at Kikunduku Primary School. The lunches we receive at the school are excellent and the staff are so generous. As you can see the food is very wholesome with lots of fruit available too. Sitting down for lunch was a great time for our volunteers to chat with the locals so they are able to learn more about one another. (fb)

An amazing part of our volunteers' experience is not only being able to explore breathtaking landscapes, but it is also the interactions with locals, who they can learn so much from. There is an immense benefit to both sides of meeting people in their own environment, speaking with them brings perspective in a way we could never otherwise conceive. Here a local Ranger working on the Grevy's Zebra conservation project is showing some volunteers his local area. (fb)
