Did you know that the average student has trouble getting their deposit back at the end of their tenancy? That’s why it’s so important to look through your inventory report when you first move in. If you don’t receive an inventory report, make sure to take photos and videos on the day you move in - look for stains, cracks, scuff marks and mould, and record the date of the photos. You can also ask for changes if the inventory doesn’t accurately reflect the condition of the property when you move in.
