We wanted to say a big thank you for all your support following our recent post about closing the rescue next year. It was with some trepidation that we posted the message, as social media can open you up to all sorts of spurious comments and accusations. Not everyone appreciates what it takes to run a rescue, and many have varying ideas about how it should be done, and where priorities should lie. Fortunately, the vast majority of people commenting on the post seem to have appreciated the work we have done over the years and the fantastic dogs we have helped, we are truly grateful for your support and kindness. For now, our work goes on unabated, and after a few days away (facilitated by our dedicated volunteers) we are back into the usual round of daily chores and dealing with arising issues.
