✍️ MEET EMMALEE — bookwriter & lyricist of The Waiting! Raised in Louisville and now based in NYC, EmmaLee Kidwell is a writer, performer, and co-founder of Butterfly Effect Productions. Alongside composer Maria Isabella Andreoli, EmmaLee has spent the past six years crafting The Waiting, a haunting and heartfelt folk musical about love, loss, and the space between. She’s also a performer (including Baby Shark Live!), the frontwoman of her band EmmaLee & The Dream, and a proud member of the Maestra, ASCAP, and Musical Theatre Factory communities.
