A long-awaited report has revealed how a former Derby gynaecologist harmed patients for years while warnings were overlooked. Concerns were raised as early as 2018, but key staff were not interviewed until 2022. Many women described being rushed into hysterectomies they may not have needed, sometimes after consultations that lasted only minutes. This was not just individual misconduct.
