Kearsley Youth Brass Band | Community Music

Community Youth Brass Band, based in Kearsley, Bolton. Winner of the Queen's Award 2019. Musical Director Lou Semmens. Formed in 2010 - we rehearse on Tuesday evenings at Kearsley Mount Methodist Church. The band was formed in February 2010 and aims to develop the musical skills of young people of all abilities.. Our charity work, includes providing free music tuition and the use of musical instruments for people in disadvantaged communities. We open up routes into music-based learning and employment; and use music to break down barriers and improve community cohesion.
