Loving IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival, we’ve watched hours of excellent documentaries, animations and short films, such high quality. Lauren and Gavin did a Q&A about The Making of Us this morning, and the film was screened this afternoon. The audience were very appreciative, some lovely comments made to us after. So honoured that our documentary, The Making of Us, is being screened with the other Best Shorts, this Sunday, 29th June. We're in the category of 'Connection and Passion,' which describes what we're about perfectly. Can't wait to feast on the huge variety of films being shown. Set up in Manchester UK in 2007 our aim is to give homeless and marginalised people a voice through film and theatre. Its drama from the streets as real as it gets. Anouncement Acting on Impulse has championed the place of the performing arts in generating wellbeing agency resilience and skills for people who have experienced homelessness or who are marginalised for any reason. Around 500 people have attended our various programmes of acting workshops over the last 17 years.
