SEF CYMRU Empowering Communities Through EducationGrymuso Cymunedau Drwy Addysg WELCOME Who we are SEFCymru was formed in 2000 to address the underachievement of Cardiff students. Since then we have been dedicated to the growth and education of young children so that they may better their chances of receiving a satisfactory grade in their exams. The charitys aims are to advance education for the public through the provision of educational enrichment and providing activities and opportunities for young people to Our Work Our SEFCymru Youth Empowerment and Mentoring Project was a youthled volunteering project providing young people aged 1625 with opportunities to influence policy and practice. The Youth Empowerment Project was a twoyear youthled initiative that aimed to empower young people from across Cardiffs BAME community to influence policy and practice through volunteering opportunities that included training research and advocacy work.
