We’re now just that little bit closer to moving permanently into our new home, N0 9, Reform Road! Our very first day of service from the new building will be this Saturday, but in the meantime, we’re busy getting everything ready. Today, some of our amazing volunteers kindly gave up their time to help, we’ve been rearranging the warehouse and finishing off the children’s section. ‘The Den’ Here’s a little sneak peek of our beautiful, happy, warm and welcoming new home for FoodShare, and all the exciting projects we’ll be able to run from here. Volunteer Opportunity at FoodShare – Community Café Team FoodShare is looking for three new volunteers to support our lead volunteers in the Community Café section. We’ll soon be moving to new premises and expanding, so it’s a great time to get involved! You’ll be working with vulnerable individuals, including those who are homeless. Tasks include: • Serving food, tea, and coffee • Helping with washing up and general clean-up after the sessions Session times: • Saturdays – 8:50 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. • Wednesdays – 4:50 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. You’ll be supporting our experienced lead volunteers during these sessions.
