Make Club – Texture Rubbing and Collage workshop
 Join us next month as we explore the cool interior of the church and take textural rubbings from some of the carvings. Once done, we will head back to the Hall and cut these textures into simple shapes, arranging them in patterns inspired by mid-century design. Each month, we offer new creative activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Make Club is a relaxed space where everyone can get involved, create, and have fun. Our workshops are led by experienced artists and makers, so there’s always something fresh to learn.

Elizabeth Ellis reading part of her Cornish translation of Arlodhes A Shalott / The Lady of Shalott by Tennyson. This beautiful thing was created as part of the Cornwall Language Residency which is part of Endelienta Arts. The residency supports Cornish Language Enthusiasts and takes place each year. The performance of Arlodhes A Shalott took place last week at St Endellion Church as the finale to a very successful tour which also featured at Hall for Cornwall. The piece comprises of the poem selected on residency by Thomason, translated by Ellis, put to music by Thomason and performed by Thomason, Kath Buckler and Elizabeth Freeborn.
