To mark the beginning of Pride Month🌈, we hosted a powerful VAWG Hour with Tracy Martinez, who delivers specialist sessions on LGBTQ+ Domestic Abuse: What You Need To Know for DA and IDVA practice. This vital training provides domestic abuse professionals with the awareness, inclusive language, and practical tools needed to better support LGBTQ+ victims/survivors of domestic abuse. A huge thank you to Tracy for leading such an insightful session and reminding us of the importance of embedding LGBTQ+ inclusion across all areas of our work. 🏳️‍🌈 Showing Up at Pride We also proudly attended Portsmouth Pride, joining the celebrations and standing in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. It was a vibrant, meaningful day that reinforced our commitment to visibility, allyship, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ victims of domestic abuse. Together, these moments reflect our ongoing efforts to build safer, more inclusive services for all victim/survivors affected by domestic abuse. 🙌🧡 (fb)
