The structure is based on an umbrella model where the Trust Board maintains overall oversight but the funding agreement with the Secretary of State is directly with each of the schools. The Trust Board then supplies Founding Governors to both support and challenge the governing body of each academy. The strength of the model is in the support we wrap around our academies. The Board itself is made up of people with key expertise to support our academies Education Employment and Higher Education.
