The BirkettSmith Animal Sanctuary3 Templemans Ash Bridport Dorset DT6 5NX Registered Charity No 1152016 THE BIRKETTSMITH ANIMAL SANCTUARY We are The BirkettSmith Animal Sanctuary and we are a rarity in the UK as we are one of the the very few UK sanctuaries that will take in both human aggressive and fear aggressive dogs. We rehabilitate these dogs as much as we can over time to enable them to enjoy their forever home here with us or very occassionally to go back out into the world to specialist homes with new skills. We provide forever homes for just under 100 dogs a few cats and some farm animals including sheep horses geese and chickens. Our sanctuary animals are deeply issued and due to the nature of our dogs we dont open to the public and we keep foot traffic onsite to the very minimum so as not to cause them fear or distress.
