Today we’re excited to launch a new resource for orchestras in Canada. The Environmental Sustainability Guide and Charter for Canadian Orchestras is something we’ve been working on with Orchestras Canada/Orchestres Canada. This new resource gives practical tools to help orchestras of all sizes embed environmental action into their work. Developed in collaboration with orchestras across all ten provinces and three territories, it sets out actions by impact and cost, helping organisations prioritise what to tackle first. It’s available in both English and French, and relevant for anyone working within or alongside an orchestra - from musicians and staff to board members and promoters.
