A recent study by one of our feeding partners discovered that school feeding programs increases enrolment in schools, improves school attendance and keeps kids in school longer. Communities also noticed fewer children not in school. This trend wasn’t just seen in the first year that a school’s feeding programme operated - it was sustained over time.
