Forgiveness Isn’t Just Nice — It’s a Power Move We don’t often connect forgiveness with power. But in the Kingdom, forgiveness isn’t just something kind Christians do. It’s an act of spiritual warfare — and a catalyst for healing, freedom, and transformation. Let me show you how. A few weeks ago, we were praying for a woman with esophageal cancer. She was surviving on fortified milk — barely. It took her over an hour just to swallow a few sips. She was skin and bones. Fragile. Exhausted. But in that moment, what she needed wasn’t just healing. It was love. So we prayed. And the Spirit of God came with overwhelming love. “I feel so loved,” she said. “Like I’ve never felt love like this before.” That night, she was able to swallow again. The next day, her son, who had also been healed recently, ran up to me, full of joy. “My mum’s eaten food for the first time since December!” The healing had begun. But then something else happened. We began talking with the family about forgiveness and what it means spiritually. You see, forgiveness isn’t just therapeutic. It’s strategic. It clears spiritual space. It breaks off demonic permission. It releases captives — including you. In Kingdom terms: ✅ Forgiveness is not weakness. ✅ It’s not denial. ✅ And it’s definitely not approval of what happened. It’s the most radical declaration of identity you can make: “You no longer define me. Heaven does.” We’ve seen it over and over again at LSSM: When people forgive… 💥 Healing accelerates 💥 Emotional maturity unlocks 💥 Destiny comes back online So let me ask you: ❓ Who do you need to forgive? ❓ What old offence is still holding emotional or spiritual weight? Here’s a place to start: “Lord, I choose to forgive [name]. I cancel the debt. I release them to You. And I take back my peace.” Forgiveness is a power move.
