THE HUGE PARTNERSHIP
THE HUGE PARTNERSHIP is a UK-based charity, registered under the number 1153640 with the Charities Commission. The charity is set up to support education in Uganda, specifically benefiting disadvantaged children.
Purpose and Activities
The charity operates under the principle of "Helping Uganda Educate" and primarily supports the Nabugabo Community Learning Centre in Southern Uganda. This includes providing financial and resource assistance to a primary school established in 2012. The primary school offers free education to vulnerable and disadvantaged children who otherwise might not have access to educational resources. Currently, the school educates about 141 children, with 84 being female. The charity also supports a secondary education fund, enabling children to continue their education beyond primary school; there are 62 children in this program, with 37 being female.
In addition to educational support, THE HUGE PARTNERSHIP implements various initiatives focused on female empowerment, health, welfare, water management, and waste/recycling. These initiatives aim to foster a sustainable community by addressing multiple aspects of community development.
Governance and Structure
The charity adheres to strict governance policies, ensuring transparency and accountability in its operations. It maintains an organizational chart outlining roles and responsibilities and operates in close collaboration with the senior management team of the Nabugabo Community Learning Centre. The charity follows a strong ethical code that guides all its activities.
Financials
As of the financial year ending December 31, 2023, THE HUGE PARTNERSHIP reported a total income of £48,850 and a total expenditure of £65,149. The charity does not have trading subsidiaries, and trustees do not receive any remuneration from the charity[3][4].
Trustees and Volunteers
The charity is managed by a board of four trustees and supported by three volunteers. These individuals contribute to the charity's mission without receiving financial compensation for their services[3][4].
Objectives and Impact
The overarching goal of THE HUGE PARTNERSHIP is to provide high-quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. By doing so, it seeks to empower children to become independent, resilient individuals who can contribute positively to their community in the long term. Through education and community support initiatives, the charity aims to build a sustainable future for the children it serves.

Welcome to the May Newsletter from Nabugabo, Uganda. Thanking all our friends around the world for their fantastic support. (fb)
We are delighted to report that all 20 of our students from Nabugabo Primary School successfully passed their Primary Leaving Exams. This is a fantastic achievement and importantly, means they will now be able to commence secondary education at St Kizito secondary school. 16 of the students are girls. There are many people to thank but most importantly Headteacher Vincent and his staff for wonderful teaching and wellbeing support and to the children themselves for all their hard work and commitment. Finally, a huge thank you to our supporters and funders as without your help none of this would be possible. (fb)
