Friends of Monze
Charity based in Wales and working in the Monze district in Zambia to improve education and health. The aim is to relieve or prevent poverty in Monze. FoM assists in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals and community groups to generate income and be self-sufficient.Fund-raising activities include presentations to organisations, individual donations, and grants from grant-giving bodies.

We help improve education and health in Zambia Friends of Monze achievements in 12 years Over 4800 children are being educated in 18 safe dry schools we have built and more school building is planned. We have built or completed 13 houses for qualified teachers. With literacy levels low we are working to equip schools with enough reading and text books desks and solar powered laptops.
