Smethwick CAN (Church Action Network) working together to provide 3 days food to those in crisis. Open 12-2 Tuesday and Friday. Smethwick Church Action Network (CAN) aims to serve our neighbours in times of crisis and help facilitate a transition from a place of need, to one of opportunity, hope and self-sufficiency. Our projects include Smethwick Foodbank and YLP: Smethwick Smethwick CAN works with local communities to tackle poverty, build community, increase aspiration and support the most vulnerable. We provide a wide range of services through local churches and community groups including places of welcome to build community; supporting people towards work and social enterprise to increase aspiration; and provide crisis relief to support the most vulnerable.
