Making heart-warming moments a reality for older generations. 💜 Thanks to a grant from Home Instead Charities, The String of Hearts CIC has continued their commendable work supporting older adults through the power of music. 🎶 One attendee shared: “It’s given me confidence. I was beginning to feel down... but since going to String of Hearts, I’ve started mixing more with people where I live.” 💬 Lucy, CEO of String of Hearts, added: “Thanks to Home Instead Charities' support, we were able to help thirty isolated older adults from Broomwood, Sale West, and Brooklands access free transport to attend joyful, music-making sessions, helping them rebuild confidence, make new friends and feel part of their community again.” Loneliness and isolation can affect older adults' mental and physical health.
