WARNING- GRAPHIC IMAGES ‼️ Early on this summer we were alerted to this poor swan, who was suffering from a deep gash on the side of his body. Due to the location of the wound, he was also unable to walk. Luckily he responded very well to treatment, and after weeks of dedicated care, he was back on his feet. As you can now see, the wound has almost completely healed, and he is enjoying the final stages of his care in one of our outside pens. We are so pleased with his progress and can’t wait to see him returned home in the near future ☺️🦢 (fb)

We were called out this evening to a cygnet that was struggling after being involved in a territorial dispute, with another pair of swans. Unable to stand, and with an injured wing, he was brought back to our site for rest and treatment. We are hopeful that he will make a full recovery so he can be returned to his family very soon 🤞🦢 (fb)
