Welcome to Nottingham Youth Orchestra's twitter page. One of the country's top orchestras for young people. Founded in 1985 the orchestras aim to encourage young people to play to the best of their ability We run Youth Orchestras for young people in Nottingham and its environs. We run three orchestras - training, intermediate and senior plus two jazz bands. We work towards public performances of music on a broadly termly basis. We engage professional tutors and conductors to work with and enthuse our players. Regular workshops, residential weekends and tours also take place.
