Last Saturday was our August volunteer morning. It was a very productive session. Long-standing volunteer Dave Larkin let a group of young volunteers cleare an area in the glade. Thanks to the Seren Park Gardens residents who alerted us to a fallen tree over the weekend. We investigated on Sunday (20th July) and found that 2 large limbs had fallen off the mature poplar tree in the Glade (ie interior of the woodland). https://t.co/NJWOo6SNpx (tw)

Menu Friends Of Westcombe Woodlands Dedicated to securing the preservation of the Westcombe Woodlands Welcome March 2025 Our next few volunteer events with the Friends of Westcombe Woodlands are Saturday the 5th April Sunday the 4th of May Saturday the 7th of June and Sunday the 6th of July. As usual we will be onsite at the Seren Park gate entrance at 1000am. In addition Sunday the 4th of May from 2pm is our usual Spring Bluebell Event. Sunday 4th October 2015 saw the official and formal opening of the Woodlands to the public.
