♻️ Turning Trash into Treasure for Wildlife! 🐾 At Wingham Wildlife Park, old bottles, boxes, and even firehose get a second life as enrichment for our animals! On this week’s blog Meghan shares how, we reuse waste to make enrichment from meerkats digging through ball pit balls to giraffes using slow feeders made from lunchboxes, which stimulates natural behaviour and reduces waste. Wingham Wildlife Park Animal Welfare WWPAW is a UK registered charity number 1162346 working with the support of Wingham Wildlife Park and its staff to give safe homes for life both in captivity and the wild. The charity was registered in the summer of 2015 to work with projects both in the UK and the rest of the world. The aims of WWPAW are to Relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention.
