Recientemente, nuestros internos voluntarios de medicina realizaron un taller de salud pública en un jardín de niños local. El objetivo del taller fue evaluar a los niños para detectar de manera temprana problemas de visión y pérdida de la vista, un servicio esencial considerando la falta de este tipo de atención en la comunidad. La semana pasada fuimos invitados a la Feria de Ciencias EUREKA en la I.E. Inmaculada de Talara. El tema de este año fue: “Proyectos Sostenibles que respondan a una Necesidad Real en su Comunidad”. Fue increíble ver el interés y compromiso de los estudiantes, con tantos ejemplos de trabajos brillantes que inspiran a la próxima generación a vivir de manera más sostenible y a retribuir a su comunidad, valores que también compartimos aquí en EcoSwell. ¡Felicitaciones a todos los que participaron y gracias por recibirnos! EcoSwell visited the nearby town of Piedritas and impressed by the nature there identified it as a prime location for ecotourism. Together with its partners EcoSwell is building hiking trails and an ecotourism center to have a sustainable impact on the community.
