Food waste and food poverty should not coexist. A non-profit social project combating food waste and food poverty. comamosjuntos@gmail.com Eat United is the first and only food re-distribution project in Nicaragua. Our aim is to decrease fo Eat United builds local solutions to food insecurity and food waste through the development of a volunteer-led food re-distribution system in Nicaragua. Fresh produce is rescued and channelled directly to vulnerable families in the capital city Managua, providing a sustainable and replicable method for intervening directly in dietary habits and food consumption in urban food insecure communities.
