We at Christ Church Southampton are looking for a Director of Operations to join the team. It's not a particularly common role and could suit someone coming from a broad range of backgrounds: you could be working currently for a church, a charity, a business, civil service or whatever. The one (almost) sure thing about you is: you've never thought about being a church Director of Ops! You'd be working as part of a large staff team who work hard but without taking themselves too seriously (!) with all the blessings and support that go with that. We're flexible about how we might cut the cake and could also consider recasting it as an 'Executive Pastor' role if it was someone with pastoral experience who wanted to keep their hand in.
